Sweet Pea Cakery was named for the beautiful, fragrant sweet pea flowers my grandma grew in her backyard. I love that a small part of this bakery holds a memory that’s close to my heart.

I was born and raised in Montana but, Aberdeen is the community I’ve proudly called home for 30 years. I raised four amazing children here, and for many years baking was something I did for family, friends, and the occasional side order. A few years ago, with my husband’s help, that passion grew into something more when we built a professional bakery kitchen right in our home—bright, welcoming, and filled with fresh, high-quality ingredients.

The always willing taste-testers and “sweet peas” in my life are my grandchildren—18 in all, ranging from newborn to 14. They’re a big part of my everyday life and a constant reminder of why I love baking for the people I care about.

I specialize in cakes, decorated cookies, cupcakes, and other handcrafted treats, all made from time-tested recipes and thoughtful attention to detail—one order at a time.

As Sweet Pea Cakery has grown, so has my love for creating treats that can be enjoyed anytime. That’s how FRODO, my frozen cookie dough line, came to be—and it’s now available both directly from my website and in select local grocery stores, making it easy to enjoy made-from-scratch cookies fresh from your own oven whenever the craving hits.
